This
annual Harmony Day competition is once again being
conducted by The Moving Forward Together Association Inc to
celebrate Harmony Day 21st March 2009.
This year's theme is "Building Community Harmony"
Primary and High School students in NSW and
ACT are invited to submit their entries to this competition
and participate in a wonderful opportunity to build community
spirit, harmony and understanding.
Prizes will be awarded to students
whose posters best illustrate an innovative approach to the
theme.

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS
19th DECEMBER
2008 |
Entries should reflect one or more of the following
principles:

Our society is made up of different people from different
backgrounds;
·
While we are unique, we all share the goal of wanting to live
together in harmony, peace and understanding;
· We
must not tolerate hate, violence or unfair treatment of any
person or group;
· We
must respect others religion, gender and race;
· We
must strive to give all Australians equal opportunities
and assist those who are less fortunate than ourselves;
·
We
are proud to be Australian.
A panel of qualified, respected art critics
and educational personnel
will judge the entries.
